Basic Knowledge of Networking

Whenever we think about network, first question comes in mind is "What is network?" so network is "A group of two or more computers connected to share information and resources." Any resources like printer, scanner etc.

Network

Every network is divided in 3 types.
1) Local area network (LAN)
2) Metro-politan area network (MAN)
3) Wide area network (WAN)

1) Local area network (LAN)

                Set of devices connected with the same location (office/building)

             Set of devices connected in city limits.

3) Wide area network (WAN)

      - Set of devices connected in two or more different locations.
      - Two or more LAN or MAN.

Wide area network (WAN)

4) Personal area network(PAN)

            Two or more computer systems with in 4 to 6 meters.
